“Los Angeles is a natural fit for MLTT,” said Flint Lane, Founder and Commissioner of Major League Table Tennis. “With its rich sports culture and global reach, we’re confident this move will elevate the league’s visibility and open new opportunities for growth. We’re also thrilled to welcome Dr. Reddy to the MLTT family—his passion for the sport and commitment to excellence align perfectly with our vision.”
“This is a dream come true,” said Dr. Praful Reddy. “Table tennis has been a part of my life for decades, and to lead a team in this exciting league is truly an honor. I look forward to building a championship-caliber team in Los Angeles and helping grow the sport across the U.S.”
The relocation of the Spinners to Los Angeles marks the latest chapter in MLTT’s fast-paced expansion. The league recently announced its growth to 10 teams for Season 3, including the addition of the New York Slice and Atlanta Blazers, and secured a national media deal with CBS Sports.
MLTT continues to experience record-breaking growth, with YouTube viewership up more than 500% year-over-year, record attendance across Season 2, and surging demand for tickets and team merchandise.
