PRINCETON, NJ, April 23, 2024 – Coming off the success of its inaugural season, Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) today announced the signing of an exciting group of new athletes, led by Liam Pitchford and Debora Vivarelli, for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The addition of Pitchford and Vivarelli, alongside Jens Lundqvist, Lubomir Pistej, Emmanuel Lebesson, further solidifies MLTT’s commitment to showcasing top talent and providing fans with an unparalleled table tennis experience.
Pitchford is a renowned table tennis player hailing from England who is currently ranked 28th in the world. With an impressive career spanning over a decade, Pitchford has established himself as one of the top players in the world. He boasts an impressive list of accomplishments, including multiple national titles and notable victories on the international stage. He has represented Great Britain in three straight Olympics.
Debora Vivarelli is a dynamic and talented player from Italy who is currently ranked 90th in the world. Vivarelli has consistently performed at the highest level, earning numerous accolades throughout her career. She is a multi-time national champion and has represented Italy in prestigious international competitions, most notably the 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

This group of players are now eligible for the 2024 MLTT Draft, which will take place on May 21st, and can be watched live on the league’s YouTube channel. Once drafted, they’ll add to an already dynamic and talented group of players in MLTT, competing in exhilarating matches and thrilling fans with their remarkable skills.
