Four-time U.S. Olympian and local hero Lily Zhang leads her hometown Bay Area Blasters into fierce competition at the Alameda County Fairgrounds from January 10-12.
On Friday, Zhang and the Blasters take on the Princeton Revolution in an electrifying opening matchup. The drama rises on Saturday when the Blasters face the Carolina Gold Rush, last season’s East Division leaders. Q: What types of tickets are available?
A: Specific Match Tickets: Purchase tickets for an individual match (e.g., Match 1 at 4:00 PM or Match 2 at 7:00 PM). Perfect for fans who want to attend a single session.
1-Day Upgrades: Access both matches on the same day (e.g., Match 1 and Match 2). Includes the option to upgrade from a single match ticket during the event.
3-Day Pass: Enjoy access to all matches over the entire weekend. Ideal for die-hard fans who don’t want to miss a moment of the action!
Q: How do the 1-Day Pass upgrades work?
A: If you’re buying a single match ticket, you can purchase a 1-Day Pass upgrade online during checkout or on-site at the ticket counter. This will grant you access to both matches on the same day (e.g., 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM).
Q: How long are the events?
A: Each team match runs two to two-and-a-half hours. There are two matches a day, with an intermission between each match on all three days.
Q: What will I see at a team match?
A: All team matches consist of four singles matches and one doubles match, all ranging 20-25 minutes. They conclude with The Golden Game, a pressure-packed race to 21 points featuring five players per team that often decides the outcome.
Q: What else happens at an MLTT event?
A: Aside from MLTT action, we offer fun and games in the MLTT FanZone, a designated area to make signs, take photos, test your skills against each other or MLTT’s PongBot. The FanZone also contains the MLTT Merch Shop, where fans can snag awesome MLTT shirts, uniforms, and gear.
