Adam Hugh

Adam Hugh is a six-time U.S. Men’s National Team member and one of the most accomplished figures in American table tennis, both as a player and coach. A former U.S. Men’s National Champion, Hugh represented Team USA at five World Championships and the 2009 World Team Cup, earning silver at the 2014 North American Cup. Known for his sharp instincts and smooth, attacking style, Hugh dominated the junior ranks before competing internationally and playing collegiate tennis at Princeton University.

With over two decades of coaching and high-performance leadership under his belt, Hugh has helped shape the next generation of American talent through his work at Let’s HITT (High-Intensity Table Tennis), the New Jersey club he co-founded. His training center has become a launchpad for elite development, combining technical excellence with a commitment to growing the sport from the grassroots up.

Now serving as the head coach of the New York Slice, one of Major League Table Tennis’ newest franchises, Hugh brings his trademark grit and vision to the pro stage. “New York is home to the most passionate sports fans in the world – a city built on resilience and the relentless pursuit of excellence,” said Hugh. “As we bring MLTT to the metropolitan area, I’m excited to help build a winning culture and make every match an electrifying experience for our fans.”
