PRINCETON, N.J., – Major League Table Tennis (MLTT), the first professional table tennis league in the United States, today finalized rosters for all 10 teams ahead of the start of Season 3 this September.
The 2025 MLTT Draft attracted a player pool representing 45 different countries, showcasing the league’s expanding international reach. Top global talents, including Yuya Oshima (Japan, #1 overall pick by Atlanta Blazers), Koki Niwa (Japan, New York Slice), João Monteiro (Portugal, Texas Smash), Robert Gardos (Austria, Chicago Wind), Chen Sun (China, Bay Area Blasters), and Peiyu Zhu (China, New York Slice), were among the standout selections as teams reloaded for MLTT’s most competitive season yet.
“Season 3 will feature the most competitive and global player pool we’ve ever had,” said Flint Lane, Founder and Commissioner of MLTT. “The talent entering the league continues to impress, and the energy around our draft this year shows how fast MLTT is growing as a destination for the world’s best players.”
This year’s draft marked a milestone moment for the league, with new expansion teams—the New York Slice and Atlanta Blazers—making their first-ever selections alongside returning clubs. Each team crafted rosters designed to maximize depth and flexibility, blending experienced veterans with emerging stars across singles, doubles, and the thrilling Golden Game.
