Major League Table Tennis Announces 2025-26 Draft Registration Dates

PRINCETON, N.J. — Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) is excited to announce that registration for the 2025 MLTT Draft will officially open to elite players from around the globe beginning today and will close on March 9, 2025.

The league’s rapid growth and increasing global awareness were evident last year, as over 300 players from 53 countries registered for the second MLTT draft. Thirty-one players were ultimately selected, following a thorough pre-draft evaluation process by MLTT coaches.

Among the highlights of the 2024 draft class were six Olympians from the 2024 Paris Games, including Liam Pitchford from England, who was selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the Florida Crocs.

“Season two has been a groundbreaking year for Major League Table Tennis, with awe-inspiring performances, increased fan engagement, and a growing community of passionate supporters,” said MLTT Founder and Commissioner Flint Lane. “With the opening of the draft for season three, we’re building on this momentum and raising the bar even higher for what professional table tennis can achieve.”

Important Upcoming Dates:

  • January 8: Draft Registration Opens
  • March 9: Draft Registration Closes
  • April 1: Lottery Day to determine draft order selection
  • April 21: Expansion Draft for two new teams from existing teams
  • April 28: MLTT Draft including all 10 teams

As MLTT prepares to expand from eight to 10 teams for its upcoming season, the 2025 draft promises to offer even more opportunities for new talent to join the league.
