PRINCETON, N.J. — Major League Table Tennis (MLTT), the first professional table tennis league in the United States, today announced that Dimitrij “Dima” Ovtcharov, one of the sport’s most celebrated athletes, has joined the league’s Board of Governors. The addition of Ovtcharov signals MLTT’s commitment to elevating the profile of table tennis and strengthening its position as a premier professional league.
Ovtcharov, a six-time Olympic medalist and former world number one player, brings a wealth of experience both on and off the court. With a career spanning more than two decades at the highest levels of international competition, his insights will help shape the league’s strategic direction, attract world-class talent, and fostering greater international collaboration within the sport.
