MLTT Championship Weekend Set for April 12–13 in Philadelphia

PRINCETON, N.J. – Major League Table Tennis (MLTT), the first professional table tennis league in the United States, has officially locked in its final four contenders for Championship Weekend, taking place April 12–13 at the Athletic Recreation Center on the campus of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

After a fiercely competitive regular season, the Carolina Gold Rush, Chicago Wind, Texas Smash, and Bay Area Blasters have emerged as the league’s elite teams. Over two action-packed days, they’ll battle it out for the 2025 MLTT Cup and a $50,000 prize pool.

“These four teams earned every bit of this moment,” said MLTT Founder and Commissioner Flint Lane. “The level of play throughout the season has been extraordinary, and it all came down to the wire—our final matches determined who advanced. Carolina, Chicago, Texas, and Bay Area have been tested all year, and now they’ll battle for the MLTT Cup on the biggest stage. Fans are going to witness something special in Philadelphia.”

Championship Weekend Schedule

Saturday, April 12 – Semifinals

  • 4:00 PM ET: Chicago Wind (#2 East) vs. Texas Smash (#1 West)
  • 7:00 PM ET: Bay Area Blasters (#2 West) vs. Carolina Gold Rush (#1 East)

Sunday, April 13 – Finals & Consolation Game

  • 12:00 PM ET: Third-Place Match
  • 3:00 PM ET: MLTT Championship Final

    The weekend will feature Olympians, internationally ranked stars, and rising American talent, with all matches played in MLTT’s signature team format—fast-paced, high-energy, and built for fans. This season, MLTT has continued its rapid ascent, with new expansion teams in New York and Atlanta, a national television agreement with CBS Sports, and a wave of international stars joining the league.
